Jim Unger, founder of Allen Roy Builder's Inc, is a third generation builder who is successfully intergrating cutting edge technology (such as web based homeowner selections and schedules through "Buildlinks", our information technology provider) with the building practices of days gone by.


Begining in the 1920's, Morris Unger, Jim's grandfather, built homes in the Pittsburgh area, passing along his knowledge and expertise to his son Ellis.

Ellis followed in Morris' footsteps, constructing homes along with his father, never compromising quality and value, always keeping in mind the importance of a solid structure, along with each families needs. When the time was right, Ellis took his son Jim into the business, where Jim learned from the ground up what it means to be a BUILDER. 

Jim has utilized his experience and expertise of being a third generation builder by starting Allen Roy Builders in 1993.
